Who I am

Hi, I’m Michelle Klein-Hass, and this is my fitness/health blog.

At my largest, I was 218 pounds on a 5′ 2,” light frame. Now I’m 193 and slowly losing the weight. By slowly, I lost my 20+ pounds in the space of 7 months. I’m not in this to lose the weight as a primary goal: I’m in this to be healthier. The weight loss is a secondary good thing. I feel better after losing the weight I have, and getting fitter and lighter feels good. I want to feel better, get stronger, and be a strong, self-sufficient woman even into my twilight years. I will be 50 in November 2013. This is serious business. I do not want to be a frail, dependent old woman.

I’m probably going to be doing some experiments with WordPress here.  Hopefully they will count as enhancements! ^_^

  1. I hear every word you wrote. When you are young, it’s physically easier to carry the weight, but as you get older, not so much. I’m there too. Happiness to you!

  2. It is so great to see somebody else that is my age and, oh darn your not as heavy as I am, in the fitness blog game. It looks like I am one month older than you. I am also just trying to feel better, move better and figure this whole thing out. Love your site!!

    • Everyone has a beginning, Cindy. Make sure you do the necessary work on acceptance of your body, as is and where is. Because it is that much harder to do this when you are down on yourself.
